Molly Cohen, Esq. (New York, NY)
Molly Cohen (she/her) is the Senior Supervising Attorney at the Sex Workers Project, providing immigration legal representation to sex workers and survivors of trafficking. She received her J.D. from the University of Wisconsin Law School in 2017. As a law student, Molly interned with the Sex Workers Project and worked on asylum, T visa, and removal defense cases for low-income immigrants as a clinical student with the UW Immigrant Justice Clinic. She also served as vice president of the UW chapter of Law Students for Reproductive Justice and volunteered with the CARA Pro Bono Family Detention Project. Prior to law school, Molly studied issues related to human trafficking, gender-based violence and refugee rights through internships with the U.S. Department of State in Mexico City, the Argentine Network for International Cooperation, and the International Institute of Wisconsin. Molly is passionate about pursuing zealous, trauma-informed advocacy to build a world that is free of trafficking, and where sex workers rights are respected and affirmed.
